Cusco november 2018
In Cusco we stepped
in the life of Papa Yuri,
the founder of Aldea Yanapay.
Aldea Yanapay, it’s two words, one in Spanish and the other one in Quechua. “Aldea” means community, village and “Yanapay” means aid in Quechua. So, it’s an aid community! Aldea Yanapay is a self-sustaining community whose mission is to provide children, adolescents, families and society with alternative education and conscious development based on tolerance, responsible love, spirituality and respect for the planet.
The school is the a place
what reminds us of
the magic to be a child!
The kids develop their artistic talent, self protection and instinct. Art and expression/interculturality/conscious computerscience/Games/Music/Quechua/Love circles/Mystical ceremonies are some of the classes. All with respect for pachamama (mother earth)/ Taita Inti (father sun)/Yacu mama (mother water) and with smile and love.
